Many people think of themselves highly. They would describe themselves as smart, capable, intelligent, etc, and they may have the titles and wealth to present as evidence.
However, we live in an imperfect world, wherein people in some countries have had far more opportunities than in others. Add to this inherited wealth and privilege, and you will find out that many with wealth and titles didn't have the opportunity to develop the character they attributed to themselves. One way to realize a lack of personal development opportunities is when somebody's actions go contrary to what the data and evidence say. Perhaps, these individuals have their neglect of evidence in their self-talk to blame for this. Privilege blinds people. If a person is not able to accept the truth about his fallacies, the wrong attribution of causes and effects will make him do the wrong things over and over again. Sooner or later that person will fall flat on his face. A case to the point is the language spoken on the internet. As of now, almost 20% of the internet is in Mandarin. Does your company's website offer this language? #forget #your #privilege Comments are closed.
